Greetings!

Abuse is the mistreatment, hurt, harm, damage or violation of a person, animal, place or thing.

It usually happens when one person do not fully understand or respect or know the purpose of another person or thing. The misunderstanding (or ignorance) breeds fear, which triggers various forms of abuse, which leads to torment.

Love (God's perfect Love), casts out fear which has torment and abuse.

To choose love is to disarm fear and ignorance. There are steps of action to take as well. It takes courage, faith and a made up mind to break the cycle of abuse.
